Paying for Poe step by step

Use the card like any foreign bank card:

  • Subscribe in Settings → Subscription on the Poe website; the card goes into a payment form.
  • Plans differ by points: the entry plan grants points daily, higher plans a monthly allowance.
  • Monthly and annual billing exist; annual is cheaper but charged upfront.
  • If points run out, you can buy more in a separate payment.
  • In the mobile app the subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play.

What can go wrong

If the Poe payment fails, it is usually one of these:

  • The subscription page shows a price and currency based on the country Poe detects, so the total can differ from the dollar price and tax is added on top.
  • An App Store or Google Play subscription cannot be renewed by card on the web — cancel it in the app store.
  • Models cost different numbers of points; top models and video burn through the allowance much faster.
