Paying for Otter.ai step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- Choose a plan in Otter Account settings → Plans & billing and pay by card.
- Annual billing is cheaper per month than monthly; the pricing page sometimes discounts the first months.
- Business is billed per user, paid by the team admin.
- Subscriptions from the iPhone or Android app are bought and cancelled in the App Store or Google Play.
What can go wrong
If the Otter.ai payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- Promotional first-month prices are not permanent — keep the full amount on the card for renewal.
- An app-store subscription cannot move to a web card without cancelling it in the store first.
- Tax for the billing-address country may be added.
