Paying for Grammarly step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- Pick a plan on the Grammarly Plans page; the card is entered at checkout.
- You can pay monthly, quarterly or yearly — annual is far cheaper per month.
- Manage the plan and card in Account → Subscription.
- Subscriptions bought in the mobile app go through the App Store or Google Play and can only be changed there.
What can go wrong
If the Grammarly payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- Grammarly does not serve users in Russia: the account may be restricted if the service decides it is used from Russia. The card does not change that.
- The annual plan is charged in one payment — the card needs the full amount, not the monthly equivalent.
- Grammarly shows the price in the currency and with tax for the country it detects from your address, so the final total can differ from the plans page.
- Auto-renewal is on by default; turn it off in Account → Subscription in advance if you do not want another year.
