Paying for ElevenLabs step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- Pick a plan on the Subscription page of your ElevenLabs account; the card goes into a Stripe form.
- A credit allowance arrives every month; higher plans can enable pay-as-you-go beyond it.
- Starter and Creator often come with a first-month discount; the full price applies from month two.
- Upgrading mid-period is prorated and charged straight away.
- The API uses the same credits as the web app — no separate API subscription.
What can go wrong
If the ElevenLabs payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- Usage beyond the allowance is charged separately — with an empty card, generation stops.
- The first-month discount is easy to forget: keep the full price on the card by renewal.
- Tax for the billing-address country may be added.
