Paying for Zoom step by step

Use the card like any foreign bank card:

  • Buy the plan in the web portal: Admin → Account Management → Billing, where you also change the card.
  • Prices are per user per month on monthly billing; annual billing is cheaper.
  • The subscription auto-renews; adding licenses is prorated.
  • Tax is based on the billing address, which should match the card's country.

What can go wrong

If the Zoom payment fails, it is usually one of these:

  • Zoom does not serve users in Russia: the account may be restricted if the service decides it is used from Russia. The card does not change that.
  • Zoom stopped selling new subscriptions in Russia in 2022 — this is the service's own restriction.
  • If a renewal fails, the account falls back to the free plan with time-limited meetings, and cloud recordings may be deleted.
  • Paying in the mobile app goes through the App Store or Google Play, not the card in the portal.
