Paying for Wix step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- Premium is bought per site: site dashboard → Upgrade, or Settings → Billing and payments; change the card there too.
- The listed prices are for yearly billing paid upfront; monthly costs more.
- The subscription auto-renews; the free first-year domain renews separately.
- There is a 14-day refund window on Premium plans.
What can go wrong
If the Wix payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- Wix does not serve users in Russia: the account may be restricted if the service decides it is used from Russia. The card does not change that.
- In 2022 Wix stopped serving Russia — this was the service's own decision.
- If a renewal fails, the site falls back to the free plan: Wix ads return and the custom domain is disconnected.
