Paying for Shutterstock step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- Pick a plan on the pricing page and enter the card at checkout; saved payment methods are in account settings.
- An annual plan paid monthly is cheaper than month-to-month but commits you for 12 months.
- Unused downloads on monthly plans don't roll over.
- For company invoices add the company name and tax ID in billing details.
What can go wrong
If the Shutterstock payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- Shutterstock does not serve users in Russia: the account may be restricted if the service decides it is used from Russia. The card does not change that.
- Cancelling an annual plan early costs 50% of the remaining commitment, as stated in Shutterstock's terms.
- A trial subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before it ends.
- Anti-fraud may decline the first payment if the account country doesn't match the card country.
