Paying for EA Play step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- On PC subscribe and buy games in the EA app or on the EA website: sign in to your EA account, pick a plan and enter the card.
- On PlayStation and Xbox EA Play is bought and billed in the console store, following the PSN or Microsoft account's rules and region.
- The yearly plan charges for 12 months at once; the monthly plan renews automatically each month.
- FC Points and other in-game currency on PC are bought in the EA app with the same card.
What can go wrong
If the EA Play payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- EA Play Pro is PC-only — you cannot get it on console.
- If you bought a game on Steam, its in-game purchases may go through Steam rather than the EA app.
- The EA account country sets prices and currency, and the card address should match it.
