Paying for TIDAL step by step

Use the card like any foreign bank card:

  • Subscribe at tidal.com: pick a plan, create an account and enter the card.
  • The trial also needs a card, and TIDAL charges the full price automatically afterwards.
  • You can subscribe in the app through the App Store or Google Play — then change and cancel it in the store settings.
  • The Family plan is paid by the account owner, and up to six members get their own profiles.

What can go wrong

If the TIDAL payment fails, it is usually one of these:

  • TIDAL isn't available in every country, and the price depends on the account country. US tax is added on top.
  • If the card's address and country don't match the account country, the payment may be declined.
  • The student discount must be re-verified every 11 months, and Family plan members aren't eligible.
