Paying for Skillshare step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- On skillshare.com the membership is billed for a full year upfront: enter the card at signup.
- Monthly billing is available only in the Skillshare app and is paid through the App Store or Google Play.
- Annual billing starts after the trial, if there is one — the card is attached right away.
- Memberships can be gifted: the website sells gift memberships.
What can go wrong
If the Skillshare payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- The price depends on the account country, so users may see different amounts.
- The annual membership is charged in full right after the trial — keep the whole amount on the card.
- A membership bought in the app can't be cancelled on the website, only in the store settings.
