How much Crunchyroll costs
Prices from the official page as of 2026-11-02. The service may change them; the exact amount is shown at checkout.
- Fan — $9.99 per month
- Mega Fan, 12 months — $139.99 per year
Paying for Crunchyroll step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- Subscribe on crunchyroll.com under Premium: choose Fan, Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan and enter the card.
- In the iPhone and Android apps the subscription goes through the App Store or Google Play and is managed there.
- The official Crunchyroll store sells digital gift memberships for 1, 3 and 12 months — an alternative to recurring billing.
- New users usually get a trial, but the card is attached upfront and the subscription renews automatically afterwards.
What can go wrong
If the Crunchyroll payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- Crunchyroll does not serve users in Russia: the account may be restricted if the service decides it is used from Russia. The card does not change that.
- The anime catalog depends on the country: licenses are regional, and a series may be missing elsewhere.
- Plan prices and taxes vary by country; the final amount is shown only at checkout.
- If the card country differs from the account country, the payment may be declined.
