Apple’s key rule: card country = account region
Every Apple ID (Apple now calls it an Apple Account) has a country or region. It defines the App Store catalogue, prices, currency and — crucially — which payment methods you can add. Under Apple’s rules the payment method must be from the same country as the account. A card from another country either won’t save or will be declined at purchase.
The takeaway is simple. A US card fits an Apple ID set to the United States. If your account is in another region, our card most likely won’t be accepted there — better to say so upfront than promise workarounds. Our regular no-KYC virtual card is issued by an Asian bank, so it isn’t the best choice for Apple ID.
We don’t sell Apple gift cards. If that’s the route you need, you’ll have to find it elsewhere — this page is about a bank card only.
What you can pay for with a US Apple ID
Once the card is linked to a US-region account, it works for everything sold through Apple:
- iCloud+ — storage for photos, backups and files.
- Paid apps and games in the App Store, plus in-app purchases.
- In-app subscriptions: streaming, VPNs, fitness, AI services — anything billed through Apple. More on subscriptions in general: card for subscriptions.
- Apple services: Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and others available in the US region.
- Adding funds to your Apple Account balance — where Apple offers it for the region.
How to link the card to your Apple ID
Start by issuing the card in the Libermall Card app in Telegram. It needs at least $15 on it at issue — enough for your first subscriptions. Then open the card details and pick up your iPhone.
- Open Settings → your name → Payment & Shipping → Add Payment Method.
- Enter the number, expiry and CVC manually. Use the name exactly as shown in the card details.
- Enter a US billing address in Latin letters. For the US region, Apple expects an American address.
- If a 3D Secure confirmation is needed, it appears in the Libermall Card app, not by SMS.
- Save, and make sure the card is first in your list of payment methods — subscriptions are charged to it.
Linking a card to your Apple ID and adding it to Apple Pay are two different things. To also pay by phone in shops, see Apple Pay and Google Pay.
If your account is in another region
You can change your Apple ID region, but under Apple’s rules a few conditions come first. Without them, the region switch simply won’t go through.
- Cancel active subscriptions and wait for them to end.
- Spend your Apple Account balance — the region can’t change with money on it.
- Leave Family Sharing if you’re a member.
- Have a payment method valid in the new country — for the US, that’s the US card.
Purchases made in the old region may become unavailable to re-download in the new one. If your account matters to you, consider creating a separate Apple ID with the US region instead.
Common errors and fixes
If Apple won’t accept the card, the reason is almost always one of these:
- The account region isn’t the US — a card from another country won’t fit. That’s Apple’s rule, not a card limitation.
- The address isn’t American or is in Cyrillic — fix the billing address.
- Not enough money on the card. Apple sometimes runs a test authorization when you link a card, and subscriptions charge on renewal day — keep a buffer and top up the card in advance.
- 3D Secure not confirmed — open the app, the request is waiting there. If it never came, see this guide.
Apple decides which cards to accept and sometimes declines prepaid and virtual cards. The US card usually goes through, but we can’t guarantee it. More on app stores: App Store and Google Play.
Tips to keep subscriptions running
Apple subscriptions renew automatically, and if the card is empty on billing day, Apple pauses access. Keep at least a month’s worth on the card. US App Store charges are in dollars, so there’s no conversion fee — the 1.3% applies only to non-dollar transactions.
Top up your app balance with USDT on TRC-20 with no fee, or roubles via SBP. Purchases earn up to 10% cashback. If you also have subscriptions on Android, see the card for Google Play.
